‘He knew he was saved.’: Puppy dumped in scorching Australian bush found and adopted by daring dog-pawrent duo

While we would love to say that all rescues are equal, there are some that are simply a cut above the rest. We are talking about the rescues that stand tall in the face of danger. That do not shy away from the potential to get hurt or lost. That do not relent until the doggo they set out to find has been safely secured and provided the care and support it so desperately needs. This is one of these stories and without the help of this hooman and their doggo there is a good chance this cute puppy simply would not have made it.

More often than not, rescue dogs are found and saved by organizations with resources and skilled and experienced employees who know how to go about finding, helping and saving doggos in precarious positions. But every now and then these organizations simply have their hands full with the staggering amount of abandoned animals in the world and cannot take the time to find a pawticularly lost animal. Such is the case of this canine who was part of a litter who were dumped in the Australian outback. Sadly though, only his 4 siblings were initially found by a local rescue, leaving him to cower under cover until someone would be able to find him.

That someone happened to be our poster. When they saw the rescue's post about the puppies and that one was still out there, they did not hesitate to leap into action and do what many would consider to be the impawssible.

Well dang if this is not one of the sweetest and most heroic attitudes to a canine rescue that we have had the pleasure of hearing about. It takes a special kind of spirit to be the person who decides to leap into action when they hear of an animal in need. No less when the animal happens to be cowering somewhere in some of the harshest terrain on the planet. And while it might seem insane or outlandish to us, to a person who is willing to do what it takes, it is nothing more than the conditions of their work life.

Oh goodness this is so sweet we are fighting back tears as we are sure you are too. To begin with it is unreal that this pup was even found in the first place. With such thick plant growth it can be incredibly tough to recognize anything amongst the vines and branches. It is almost as though some other worldly power stepped in to create a little more awareness in our rescuer’s heart to ‘mistakenly’ find the doggo. And by the sounds of it, the rescue could not have gone better. Even the fact that there was another pupper present to support the terrified puppy through their transition back to the hooman world is a wholesome wonder in itself.
